Johannes Warnke is a circular contemporary avant-garde fashion brand informed by a background in painting and contemporary dance. Growing up performing and painting shaped Johannes' understanding of how garments interact with colour, light, and movement. Johannes treats the body as a 360° canvas, using natural dye as paint and drape as brushstroke to create soft, sculptural silhouettes from upcycled materials and botanical silks, conceived for live performance and contemporary occasion wear. Sustainability is intrinsic to the practice, expressed through natural dyeing, upcycling, and low-waste production, creating an emotive material language that feels soft against the skin and moves with the body.

Johannes' work has been exhibited and presented at Dover Street Market Paris, Selfridges, London Fashion Week, and Fashion East, and worn by artists including Björk, Grimes, Madonna, and Post Malone. The work has been featured in publications including Vogue, i-D, and Schön! Magazine, and realised in collaboration with leading industry creatives including Katie Grand, Sabrina Scheder, Sølve Sundsbø, Vitali Gelwich, and Laëtitia Gimenez across campaigns, editorials, installations, and collection presentations.
